Try This Guided Breathing Exercise


Find a quiet space. Give yourself a few minutes. Allow your nervous system to reset.

  1. Get Comfortable: Sit or lie down. Close your eyes and gently relax your body. Let go of any tension you notice.


  2. Breathe Deeply: Inhale slowly through your nose. Fill your lungs completely. Hold for a count of 4.


  3. Exhale Fully: Release the air through your mouth. Visualize stress leaving your body with each breath out.


  4. Repeat for 5–10 Minutes: Inhale peace. Exhale tension. Allow your breath to guide you into stillness.


  5. Affirm Your Calm: Repeat silently: I am calm. I am at peace. I am in control of how I feel.


  6. Visualize Serenity: Picture a peaceful place—a beach, a quiet forest, or a place you love. What do you see? Hear? Feel? Stay there for a few moments.
